Cybertruck
The Cybertruck is an all-electric, battery-powered, light duty pickup truck announced by Tesla, inc.
The stated goal of Tesla in developing the Cybertruck is to provide a sustainable energy substitute for the roughly 6,500 fossil-fuel-powered trucks sold per day in the United States.
While Tesla have discussed a pickup truck for several years, the Cybertruck was first teased at the Model Y launch in March 2019. It was unveiled at the Tesla Design Studio in Los Angeles on 21 November 2019, along with the Tesla Cyberquad ATV.
The Cybertruck will be produced at Gigafactory Texas by late 2021. Single Motor RWD production is expected to begin in late 2022.
